The Short Version

We keep things refreshingly simple here. This website uses only the minimal, strictly necessary cookies needed to keep pages running smoothly and securely. We never use marketing cookies, tracking beacons, audience profilers, or analytics cookies.

Because we avoid unnecessary tracking entirely, you will not encounter an annoying cookie banner popping up to ask for tracking permissions. The only cookies in play are the essential ones that keep our forms safe from automated abuse and allow our internal staff to maintain the platform.

What cookies actually are

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to remember for future visits. Some cookies are practical and essential, like the ones that remember you are signed in so you do not have to retype your password on every page. Other cookies are used by advertisers to follow your browsing habits across the web. We rely only on functional, essential cookies and leave tracking cookies out completely.

The cookies we use

To be fully transparent, here is every cookie our site can set, who receives it, and why it exists.

Staff sign in cookie

This cookie is created directly by our own servers, and only when an authorized administrator logs into our internal management dashboard. It keeps that person logged in as they navigate between different administrative pages. For safety, it uses secure browser flags so outside scripts cannot inspect it, and it vanishes when the team member logs out or the session times out.

If you are a regular visitor exploring our website, this cookie is never created on your device.

Anti abuse security cookie

This cookie comes from Cloudflare when you send an inquiry, book a meeting, or submit an employment application. It simply notes that your browser passed an automated verification check so you are not interrupted repeatedly while using the forms. It lasts for a brief window, never identifies who you are personally, and never monitors your web browsing elsewhere.

This cookie only activates if you send a message through a form. Reading our website will never trigger it.

Content draft preview cookie

This cookie is generated by our system exclusively for internal editors previewing staging drafts before content goes live. It never touches regular visitors.

What we deliberately avoid

  • Zero visitor analytics: We do not track page views or session patterns. There is no Google Analytics, no Plausible script, and no Meta tracking pixel running in the background.
  • No ad retargeting: We do not build marketing lookalikes, capture user habits, or send visitor signals to ad platforms.
  • Self hosted assets: Our typefaces load directly from our own servers rather than external services like Google Fonts, and our videos are self hosted. When you read a page, your browser never makes background requests to unrelated companies.

We enforce this with real technical measures. Our strict content security policy actively prevents external tracking resources from loading, even if someone attempted to insert one by accident.

Controlling your browser cookies

You can inspect, restrict, or clear stored cookies directly in your browser preferences whenever you like. Because we only use cookies where strictly required, turning them off will not break your ability to read through our articles or view our portfolio. However, disabling the anti bot cookie might stop inquiry forms from submitting properly, and our internal staff will not be able to log in.

Policy updates and questions

If our platform ever requires an additional cookie, we will update this document before that update goes live. If you want to chat about how our website operates, feel free to write to contact@therighthand.digital.
