Pocket Press - Retro Portable Printer

Project overview

Pocket Press is our working model of a single-product dropshipping store. It sells one product, an inkless retro printer that turns phone photos into small prints, and it is based in the UK with shipping at home and abroad.

The vliet had strict requirements: build a fully working store using only Shopify's basic features, a free theme and free apps, and show how far that gets a new dropshipping business.

Workflow

We set the store up from scratch on Shopify's free Origin theme and shaped every page around the one product. The homepage walks through the problem the printer solves and how it works, and the product page carries colour options and three bundles, from a starter pack to a two-printer gift kit.

International markets are configured for the UK, the US, Canada, Europe and Australia. About, FAQ and contact pages, a newsletter sign-up and the full set of store policies round it off, all without a paid app.
