Project overview

The portal serves a managed services business with six lines of service: finance, ESG, digital, tax, supply chain and workforce, delivered to clients in more than 100 countries.

Every engagement had to move through one system, from the first enquiry through proposal, contract, deliverables and invoicing, with the right people involved at each step and each person seeing only what they should.

Workflow

We built it in React with Node.js and Express, on MongoDB and MySQL. Enquiries are routed automatically using a RACI matrix and each gets a reference number. Partners, managers, associates and clients each have their own view, and permissions work across four levels of authority, with every change logged.

Partners get a dashboard of enquiries they can filter by service line, country, date and status, with colour-coded risk flags and one-click contracts. Clients get a self-service portal for enquiries, documents, payments and feedback. Invoicing handles multiple currencies, and email templates with dynamic fields go out automatically at each stage.
